Behind machuPICyou are two minds with a shared vision: Swen and Manu.
Swen
Swen is the photographer. He travels to special places, waits for the perfect light and captures real moments with his camera. His images are the origin of everything.
Manu
Manu is the creative mind behind the scenes. He brings structure, design and execution together and helps turn ideas into a coherent whole.
Two personalities, two different strengths – and one shared passion: special places, real moments and images with a story.
Hi, I'm Swen Lämmel
One of the co-founders, the mind, the heart and the camera behind machuPICyou.
I have been a photographer for over 20 years and have been travelling the world for 12 of those. Sometimes by car, sometimes on foot, and often on ships that took me to the most remote places.
My camera has always been my constant companion. Whether on dusty trails, through narrow alleyways or on calm oceans. On these journeys I collected countless impressions and captured them in photographs.
Today, together with my wonderful colleagues, I turn them into more than just photos: we transform the best shots into small, fine works of art. Each piece is a bit of adventure, a bit of wanderlust and a whole lot of attention to detail.
